Here is the Kitsune from 'The Little Foxes' pieces, photographed undressed, just after finishing the figure. She is about 4 inches tall, and sculpted from polymer clay.

Wow. She's very intense. *scampers through the rest of your gallery and wonders if the fox girl is for sale or if you'd do a commission for another one.....*
. . .Well then, found your site. Amazing. o.O

Though now I'm really sad that any of your work (your "Little Foxes' piece in particular) is mostly likely far, FAR out of my spending rage. Whoo-hoo for being a dirt poor college student.
i love your pieces so much. This one is so beautiful. I love that predator look in her eyes. I've worked with regular clay before to make ceramic pieces and i've wanted to try my hand at polymer clay for such a long time. Looking at your pieces really has inspired me to take the initiative and actually try the material! haha so i'm going to go buy some today :giggle: and see if i like it. Again, such a lovely sculpture and i cant wait to see her finished :aww:

Wow. Do you use molds at all, or is it all done by hand?

To answer your question, no I don't use molds. I'm not opposed to those who do, but I'd rather not. I'm still learning and I think the repetition is beneficial, if not always enjoyable.
beautifully created!

if you can't do it naked it's not worth doing!
True. I'm just amazed at the detail. I just started sculpting myself, and I doubt I could do hands and feet like that.
