The dryad piece was sculpted with magic sculp. She is about 2 feet tall including the base she is planted in. This one was completed last fall.
Daily DeviationGiven 2008-05-27There is something that always has resonated within me when it came to Dryads. ~pixiwillow crafts with such loving care, and with such precision, her sculptures become rife with life and animation. Treants/dryads/ents are really hard to do - at least, I've not seen many sucessful versions. Treebeard from LoTR was the best one - until this. I really really like how you blended the tree/human features
